Exuma Offshore Fishing Report and Forecast: February 2016

[dropcap]F[/dropcap]ebruary is looking great for fishing this year. Dodging the cold fronts will be the hardest part! Wahoo will continue to be the strongest fish focus this month. Trolling the wall with a good selection of dark colors and bullet shaped heads. If you have ballyhoo, start there and if you run out, then switch to your high speed rigs. Whether using a planner or trolling weights, get the baits below the surface for a successful day of fishing.

Deep dropping will always round off the day and give you a change of menu. Anywhere from 400 to 1000 feet will put something in the cooler. Standard baits are squid and barracuda.
