This month (June) will carry on as a great season for fishing in our area. Marlin will be on the hunt for small mahi and with tons of tuna around, fishing should be excellent. I have fallen in love with all things sparkly this year. With calm winds, lures should have lots of glittery sparkle. Big lures close and small lures long. For tuna and mahi, the good old cedar plug will do well. Red and white, and green and yellow have done well so far this year. Big teasers will help create some commotion and increase chances of getting some attention. Deep dropping will stay strong from 400 to 1000 feet and will offset a slow few hours.
