[dropcap]T[/dropcap]his month is what I like to call the transition month, meaning there is a chance at just about everything! So pick what you want to focus on and go from there. There will still be excellent chances at good sized wahoo. Mahi will be on the arrival any day now, and schools of tuna will start to arrive as well. And when that happens, the blues won’t be far behind!

Bottom fishing will also be strong anywhere from 50 to 150 feet. Alternative baits will be the most difficult thing in our area as commercial fishing for squid seems to be halting. Deep dropping will be strong as well from 400 to 1200 feet.
