[dropcap]I[/dropcap]f the wind isn’t blowing a gale, pack your stuff and get out there. It’s been a windy early season so far. There has been tons of bait, flying fish, in our area. My best guess this month would be to run some blue and white rigs. Islander types with ballyhoo or skirts are a good start. But most important, get some purple and black this year. I think right now there’s so much flying fish around that a small tuna may be the money! Fishing the wall is a definite this month, but with so much turbulence and current that you can find fish anywhere. But you have to keep the bait in the water. Wahoo are a little small so far around here, 15 to 25 pounds is the average, so you can still let the kids use some light gear, and have some fun. The big boy will be here soon! Grouper season is closed.
