F or the FSFA, October is Annual Auction time. Our Annual Auction will be held at the Veteran’s Center in Merritt Island on Tuesday October 22nd. The doors will be open at 7:00pm. This year’s items available for purchase include tackle, services, nautical art, 1⁄2 day charters and much more. You can find the list on the FSFA website: www.fsfaclub.org and click on 2013 Auction. There you can see all of the items that have been donated to our 2013 chairman Dan Thompson and the BOD members to offer for bid on Oct. 22nd.
As always, our membership meetings are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, but when the auction night comes in October, we ask you to please come out and see what we have. Checks, cash, and credit cards may be used for purchases. Food and beverages will be available (donations greatly appreciated) and if you would like to become a club member we can handle that too. The membership fee is $50.00 per family.
The funds raised at this and other events throughout the year are spent locally to promote youth, educational, and marine projects. So, if you come out and buy a bunch of stuff, you will be helping many. Also, if you wish to donate any items, or products for the auction please contact us at: fsfa@cfl.rr.com and we will gladly make arrangements to get your gift from you. Please mark the 22nd on your calendar, and we hope to see you there!
