[dropcap]H[/dropcap]appy New Year everyone! Hope for all the best in this year and may your fishing be even better this year than last year. For me it will be hard to top last year so I will make it my goal to have more fun and catch more fish than last year.

Now if you didn’t get out on the water last year, try planning a trip or two this year. I am no doctor but I believe that fishing is a great way to get rid of stress I call it a stress-free zone, so it’s about time to get in the zone.

Well January is a great time for fishing. Bonefish and permit are on the flats. The reef and channels are alive with fish here in East Grand Bahama and we are still having summer-like weather. Water temperature is good, the fish are in feed mode, and making this is a great time for catching. So let’s start things off right—let’s go fishing. Fly fishing or spin fishing, it’s all is fun and it’s all about what makes you happy.
