[dropcap]W[/dropcap]ell it is fall y’ all and this is a great time to plan a fishing trip to Grand Bahama.

I would like to remind people that New Providence or Nassau are not the only islands in the Bahamas. The Bahamas is made up of many islands and the fishing is great and the people are very friendly.

I am seeing many reports on the new fishing regulations and some people seem to be running a campaign to get people not to come to the Bahamas to fish, but I would hope that our friends would not let the negative report of a few people stop them from coming and fishing with their favorite guides—relationships that have been built for years cut off. Fishing is all about friendship and relationships and over the years I have had some good friends that I’ve fished with. Some of them are too old to fish but we are still in touch with each other by email and phone.

I love my Bahamas and I am not too pleased about some of articles that some people are writing but the fishing is still very good here in Grand Bahama. I believe that October is one of the best months for fishing the reef channels and flats because most of the fish are not just in one large school but are spread out over the reef channel and flats.

Come on let’s go fishing—book your trip today.
