[dropcap]M[/dropcap]an, I don’t know how people that do not fish make it. I get depressed when I am off the water for a few days. Just being out there brings me peace and so much joy. For those of you who haven’t been out on the water for the year or in months, clean that fishing gear up and get out there.

July is a great month for fishing because most of the fish are still in spawn mode. This includes snapper, barracuda, bonefish and much more. When fish are spawning, they are usually in larger schools and hungry, giving you a good chance for a hookup. This month in East Grand Bahama and most of the Bahamas, usually it would be warm and the water would almost be hot, but not this year. We are having 80-degree temperatures, the bonefish are still on the flats, and they are very happy.
