February is forecast to be a cool, clear month. The days are already getting longer and save for the occasional cold front pushing through, the ocean is under a northerly wind, which on this island guarantees a chop of 1 to 2 feet maximum. The recommendation to bring a thick suit still stands. The water temperature at this time of the year is around 70 degrees and this time of year we expect clear water and abundant marine life. The life on our reefs has been increasing in species and numbers. We are very happy to see the return of several Nassau grouper, a mix of slipper, strawberry and spiny lobster, black grouper, trumpet fish and several other snappers and grunts. We still recommend our guests remember that good refreshed skills are the best practice to enjoy the dives and the trip. We are looking forward to sharing with you the sight of some of our resident sharks, eels and other reef dwellers.
