Relief efforts for the southern Bahamas are underway. Many people have lost everything. A number of private groups are collecting goods and funds to assist. As we confirm information, we will post links to those efforts below.

Ways to Donate Funds or Volunteer to help with Hurricane Relief Efforts in the Southern Bahamas
- GoFundMe – Elbow Cay Community Association (ECCA) Hurricane Relief Fund – Flying food, diapers and supplies needed immediately to the southern Bahamas.
- GivingGrid – Bahamas Hurricane Relief – Caribbean Animal Rescue Effort – Shipping pet food and supplies to help those families as they rebuild. Funds will allow for pets to be cared for while residents rebuild homes and lives.
- Bahamas Habitat Disaster Relief (Bahamas Methodist Habitat) – Coordination of volunteer pilots to fly in materials to needed areas from Habitat’s base in Fort Lauderdale. Volunteers bring in supplies including water, medicine, building materials, food, clothing, and air-conditioners, and they help with on-the-ground cleanup.

Specific Causes
- Manfred’s Animal Rescue, San Salvador, Bahamas – Funds needed to rebuild animal shelter/facility, as well as the following supplies: a generator, chainsaw, cordless drills, wheelbarrow, plastic bins, roof tarps, fence rolls, cat carriers and small traps, mosquito fogger, 50 feet #10 outside wire for waterpump, garden hoses. Monetary donations can be made through PayPal on the Manfred’s Animal Rescue Facebook Page.
