Isle of Palms Fishing Report

DSCF3671-3

With a nice mid-morning low tide, we left the landing at first light eager for a charter full of sight fishing. Found lots of redfish singles and doubles cruising among the oyster shell rakes but they were mostly indifferent to us. When our artificial lure landed in a school of reds, it was a different story as the water would explode when one ate and sprinted away. Spent the entire trip tossing 5″ silver/blue jerk shad rigged on flutter hooks. A great day.
