Lightbourne Marine tournament proceeds provide generator for Harbour Island’s Dunmore School

Dunmore School students with Roger Eldon of Lightbourne Marine, Baldwin Carey of Carey Electric, and parent Alicia Fox.

Lightbourne Marine has donated a 20kW Kohler standby generator set and automatic transfer switch to The Dunmore School on Harbour Island.  Proceeds raised in the annual Lightbourne Marine Wahoo Challenge had been earmarked for the four-room school house, which serves 34 pupils aged 3-to-12 years of age.

According to Rachel Lightbourne, general sales manager for the marine store, “The school has endured much hardship from frequent and extended power outages, often requiring the students be sent home.”
