Ahhhh… November. This is the month when the wahoo start to run again! The cold fronts should be getting in soon and that’s one of signs that tells us the wahoo should be lingering on the edge (drop off) feeding .We have already started to catch a few of them during October but not in great numbers…yet. What they did not do in numbers they did in size, some pretty decent size ‘hoo have been caught so far. If you are going to target wahoo, it is time to put the mono leaders away and break out the cable and wire. With their razor sharp teeth they can cut through the toughest mono. While fishing for wahoo, we often get one or two mahi-mahi and maybe a tuna or two. You never know what those north winds can bring in on any given day. As we start the kick-off of the wahoo season, it has already started to look promising. Make sure you rig your baits with double hooks. Also you want to make sure that you kick up your trolling speed and fish multiple depths for best results. As the 2012 year winds down the fishing is just getting ready to heat up in 2013 so come on down to Nassau and let’s get crankin’!

Tight lines everybody.
