The wahoo season is in full swing with big numbers of fish being caught. The consistent cold fronts finally brought the temperature down and with the winds being out of the north the wahoo are snapping at all our baits. Although a lot of guys like to high speed troll for the ‘hoos, a lot of people still troll a little slower because it is a lot easier on your “pocket” and it still does produce fish, even big ones. The bottom fishing has been pretty good too with an abundant amount of various fish. Even though they are on the smaller size, they are a lot of fun for both the kids and the adults! Chumming gets them in a frenzy while using squid, ballyhoo, silversides and even conch for bait. So whatever suits your fancy, whether it’s trolling offshore for the big ones or just wanting to catch an abundance of small fish on the bottom, come on over to Nassau / Paradise Island on the Reel Deal and get your fish on. You don’t know what might show up a—a ‘cuda or maybe even an amberjack.
