Nassau Offshore Fishing Report & Forecast: January 2015

[dropcap]N[/dropcap]ow that we’ve got that little chill in the air, the wahoo are biting really well. A few mahi and kingfish are also in the mix, and let’s not forget our friend Mr. Cuda.

Some nice wahoo are being caught in the 25 to 60 pound range with some ‘weehoos’ being caught also.

January will provide the same action because it’s getting right at the peak of the season and the fish are still here with the cold snaps we are having.

Trolling the ledges with ballyhoo and lures at slower speeds, and high speeding with only lures, are both very productive ways of catching these tiger stripped speedsters.
