North Eleuthera Dive Forecast – April 2011

Jermaine Kemp

April is the Goldilocks and the Three Bears of North Eleuthera diving. Why? Because the water temperature is not too cold, not too warm…it’s just right! The warming water temperatures bring the reefs to life, especially the shallow water reefs, with nurse sharks, dolphins, black grouper and snappers of all varieties. If there are novice divers in your group, April is great because of near perfect conditions and because dive shops have increased staffing to ensure personal attention. North Eleuthera reefs are in pristine condition. Please pay close attention to the briefing provided by the captain or dive master before the dive. Although very tempting, do not touch the reef with your hands or equipment. Remember, it’s our jobs to be the stewards of our undersea environment for the enjoyment of generations to come.
