[dropcap]F[/dropcap]ebruary should be a great month for fishing, yellowfin tuna will be around in better numbers and the wahoo should still be great biting. Mahi-mahi should be coming around a whole lot more this month. All of these fish can be caught trolling lures at either James Point, Shallow Ground and Pinnacle. The wahoo will be best caught high-speed trolling but can also be caught at slow trolling around six-to-seven miles per hour. The yellowfin tuna can be caught trolling using cedar plugs and various feathers and lures, but best caught live baiting. The mahi can be caught trolling colorful lures and trolling at speeds of six-to-seven miles per hour You can also have a lot of fun fishing yellowtail snapper in February in depths of 50-to-100 feet of water. Use a chum block and a flat line with a jig.
