On the offshore side of things, June is fantastic! The weather is usually very calm, making for a great day on the water and the mahi-mahi are here, in fact there are so many around it’s really hard to catch anything else. These fish are excellent eaters and great fighters with their acrobatic jumps and leaps. At the end of May, we were catching mostly 20-to-35 pound fish but the numbers were outrageous.
