[dropcap]D[/dropcap]ecember should be a very exciting month. If it starts off as good as November has been for wahoo, then it will be an amazing month for deep sea fishing.

Look for wahoo at points of bar, such as Dutch Bar, Shallow Ground, Pinnacle and also James Point. Trolling high speed lures or slow trolling with ballyhoo will work, though high speed trolling is best.

Although the yellowfin tuna bite was slow in November, they should be hitting really well in December. These can be found at the same points of bar as the wahoo. Troll artificial lures or rigged ballyhoo lures, or use live bait.

A few mahi-mahi were caught in November, and a few should still be around in December. For best success, troll colorful lures rigged with ballyhoo at the same points of bar mentioned above.

Red snapper will also be good catching in December. Use an electric reel with squid. Best depths are between 200 and 500 feet.
