[dropcap]F[/dropcap]ebruary is when the mahi will start to appear in bigger numbers. We starting seeing a few in January. Fishing for yellowtail snapper this month will be a lot of fun. They can be caught using a chum block and fishing with s light spinning rod. Mahi can be caught in the vicinity of Shallow Ground Bar and Dutch bar either trolling colorful skirts with ballyhoo or live bait. Nassau grouper season will reopen at the end of February. You’ll find them at depths of 60-to-90 feet and they can be caught by jigging with live bait.
