The bass are starting to pick up on shiners. They will continue to pick up for the pre-spawn. I look for February to be a good month for bass especially with live bait.
The weather patterns have been up and down the “scale” but I’m expecting the specs to be doing ok as well. The water is up still so I would recommend drifting minnows out in the deeper portion of the lake or around the mouth of Big Jones Creek. So much for global warming ;-)
