With another set of tailing tides coming up the reds will be back in the grass and hungry. When the water starts falling out of the grass the trout and redfish will be looking for shrimp and other bait coming out of the grass. Once the water has fallen out, hitting up structure can land you some nice Redfish and black drum. Inlets and creek mouths will be holding flounder that are great for the table. The time for good wahoo fishing has returned offshore with great bottom fishing action as well.
Taking some of the new “flat Shimano butterfly jigs” is the ticket for a fun day bottom fishing. We have a great selection of flies for the fly angler and hundreds of different soft baits for the person that loves to throw artificials.
