Fishing is red hot on the south end of Eleuthera. You name it we got it! The billfish menu is white marlin, blue marlin and sailfish—all great on the new moon.

Use lures on mono leaders or circle hooks bridled to a bare naked ballyhoo for pitch baits. Blackfin, yellowfin and some bluefin tuna are showing up also. Look for bait, then birds and you will find “Charlie the Tuna”. Go to cedar plugs, 4 ounce buck tails in yellow, black and white. Work quickly to get the tuna to the boat because the man in the brown suit isn’t far behind. Last week was the largest dolphin run I have seen in the past 5 years. Skirted ‘hoo in any color was what they wanted. Our schoolie’s are running 15 to 20 pound average. No peanuts here. Captain Daryl Miller on the boat Underdog won Dudley Roberts Invitational fishing Tournament. Blue marlin and sailfish took it. Waves on The Bridge were 10 to 12 feet for 3 days. Ouch!

Congrats to Daryl Miller and his new Top Angler Audrey Koocher.

Tight Lines!
