How about a little good news for Mexico Beach? Highway 98 is now back open with no detours and more importantly, the boat launch is open for business!
For reef fishing, Mexico Beach is hard to beat. I always enjoy launching here because fish covered reefs are just a short boat ride away. The fee to launch is $10 and well worth it. This is a very good launch with plenty of room for multiple boats and plenty of dock to tie up.
Four restaurants are open and a few other businesses are as well. Mexico Beach Marina is back up and running, offering fuel for both your boat and your body. Fuel up and gear up right there and hit the reefs!
Limited short term slip rentals are available, but contact the harbor master first at (850) 527-7147.
Road work and countless construction projects continue, so please be careful while driving through. All of the businesses here would appreciate your patronage.
Mexico Beach is bouncing back, so come out and enjoy this beautiful area and some world-class fishing!
