Started early to catch the last of the falling tide and found redfish up to nine pounds eagerly eating chunks of blue crab. Entered a two hour period of a negative tide, so we switched over to artificial gummy minnows and fished deep trying to find fish that had dropped off into the ledges. Had good success with the trout both along rocky shoreline and over oyster rake. The bite really picked up again once the incoming tide gained momentum. Finished the day with this nice redfish caught on a gummy minnow.
