Last week saw many charters launching in the 30s combined with some stiff winds. Nothing warms you up quickly like catching fish and fortunately there was plenty of that! Hiding in creeks to take cover from the elements meant lots of dock fishing. With the bait stealers long gone, you could fish cracked blue crab and mullet unmolested. Time and time again our rods would snap over in their holders as reds crushed our bait. If this is how it fishes, the cold weather can stay.
