Record Tiger Trout Caught in Idaho

A hybrid fish introduced to control overpopulated species has created a heck of a trophy fishery at Montpelier Reservoir in eastern Idaho. His fish crushed the existing state record, nearly doubling the previous record of 4.8 pounds.

The monster wels measured 285 centimeters (9 feet, 4.2 inches) in length and stands to beat out the existing record by just 4 centimeters, or about an inch and a half.
