Using a nightcrawler, Caroline landed a 36-centimeter brook trout, earning her the IGFA All-Tackle Length Junior World Record for the species. After measuring the length on her official IGFA Measuring Device, she safely released the fish back into the lake.

Jan Gredysa’s Record-Breaking Summer Flounder

Jan Gredysa experienced a memorable day fishing in Shinnecock, New York, when he landed a 57-centimeter summer flounder. This impressive catch secured Jan the IGFA All-Tackle Length Junior World Record for the species. Using a Fin-S lure, Jan managed to hook the record flounder and, after a five-minute fight, successfully landed the fish. He then recorded the length on his official IGFA Measuring Device before safely releasing the flounder back into the water.

Amy O’Brien’s Record European Bass

Amy O’Brien made a remarkable catch while fishing off Wexford, Ireland, reeling in a 54-centimeter European bass. This impressive fish earned Amy the IGFA All-Tackle Length Junior World Record for the species. Using a live mackerel, she managed to boat the record bass after a quick fight. After measuring the length on her official IGFA Measuring Device and capturing the moment with some photos, she safely released the fish back into the water.

Shawn Shapiro’s Record-Setting Red Drum

Shawn Shapiro was fishing the Chesapeake Bay out of Norfolk, Virginia, when he hooked a massive 45.67 inch red drum. Using a live croaker aboard his father’s boat “Sea Mes,” Shawn managed to land this record red drum, setting the IGFA All-Tackle Length Junior World Record for the species. After measuring the length on his official IGFA Measuring Device and taking a few photos, he safely released the fish back into the bay.

Peter Fox’s Record Northern Pike

Peter Fox had an extraordinary day fishing out of Brabant Lodge in Northwest Territories, Canada. Using a prop fly, Peter hooked and landed an impressive northern pike after an intense battle. Measuring 110 centimeters on his official IGFA Measuring Device, this catch earned Peter the IGFA All-Tackle Length Fly World Record for the species. After documenting the achievement with some photos, Peter safely released the fish back into the water.
