Bass fishing on Lake Seminole has been very productive this fall. The water temps have fallen down to the mid 60’s and the Flint and Chattahoochee River arms of the lake have a good stain while Spring Creek remains clear.

You can expect to catch bass on a variety of lures like spinnerbaits, vibrating jigs and jerkbaits. A double willow leaf Strike King Premier Plus ½ oz. spinnerbait in chartreuse and white will produce very well. Work this bait at fast speeds to generate reaction strikes. The new Strike King Thunder Cricket has been very productive and I expect it to continue to produce all the way into spring. This bait has incredible action to it and a built in trailer keeper that actually works!

Jerkbaits have worked well this fall too. The Strike King KVD Jerk Bait in the 200 and 300 series in any shad color will do the trick. The Strike King KVD series is one of my favorite jerkbaits because of it’s castability and action, the key is working it at a fast, erratic pace.
