Highlands/Polk County Fishing Forecast: Nov. 2015
Although I don't get a chance to fish every lake in Highlands, Polk, or Okeechobee Counties to report on the fishing activity, I do fish many of the lakes on a regular basis and I often get the chance to talk with other fishermen who’ve fished the lakes as well. Oct 26th, 2015

Weekly Okeechobee Fishing Report: 10/7/2015
This weekend is shaping up to be a mixed bag of weather but a good weekend for fishing. A weak cool front is expected to be pushing through on Saturday and may stall out around Lake Okeechobee. Lake Okeechobee North End Fishing Report: Oct 2015
Lake Okeechobee is alive and well. Water levels are rising and that is a good thing, but what’s even better is that it is rising slowly. This helps the vegetation to keep up with the water as it rises and doesn’t die off because of higher water. Sep 29th, 2015

October has arrived here in Florida and that means pumpkins, Halloween, and the start of cooler weather for some much needed relief for bass and man. Fort Myers Fishing Report: Oct 2015
I wait all year to say this, "Red" October, and yes, I am a big Sean Connery fan. October is the month when the schools of 30 pound plus Red Fish come home to Charlotte Harbor. During this month you’ll find them on the sand bars in front of Bull Bay, Turtle Bay, Jug Creek Shoals, and across over to the burnt store on the east side from Pirate Harbor south to Two Pines. Through-out October you should be seeing massive Reds feeding along the sand bars. Sep 28th, 2015
Peace Harbor — Port Charlotte Fishing Report: Oct 2015
Rain, rain, go away!! Hopefully with October here the summer rains will start to subside. This has got to be one of the wettest I’ve seen in a long time. I’m often asked if all this rain affects the fishing. I think the fish in Charlotte Harbor get used to the freshwater but on the other hand it does affect the bait.Sep 28th, 2015
Palm Beach Kayak Report: Oct. 2015
October is my favorite month of the year. The mullet run should be in full effect and well Halloween of course. Using top water plugs and shallow diving jerk baits will work well imitating the mullet. Snook, trout, tarpon and redfish will be working the schools that move in the river.Sep 28th, 2015
