T he bite is still on with the warmer weather. We have been fishing Sebastian Inlet and the beaches catching several different species on Goofy jigs and bucktails as well as some live shrimp from Native Tackle. Pompano and Sheephead have been the targeted table fare and we did pretty good with them this week. We have been also picked up 50-60 bluefish per trip as well as, Jacks, Whiting, Sheephead and a few small flounder. There are a some trout and reds on the flats which will be tough to get with the clear water. The Sebastian River is good right now for Ladyfish, Jacks, Mangrove Snapper and a few trout. With the weather staying cold, the Creeks from Sebastian to Melbourne are going to be great places to fish as the water temps usually stay warmer than in the Lagoon.
