The Florida Fly Fishing Association: “HOT SPOTS MEETING”

Members will divulge their SECRET FISHING SPOTS IN FRESH AND SALT WATER AREAS in the Brevard County area, at the monthly meeting held at Kay’s Real Pit Barbecue, 1552 King St., Cocoa, Fl. Dinner begins at 6 pm and program begins at 7 pm. The meeting is open to the public and the only cost is the price of your dinner.

(Order from the menu). The program will be of particular interest to newcomers and casual fishermen wanting to expand their fishing spots in Brevard County. The members speaking will give detailed information on locations, time, tackle to use, and directions to their secret spots. Speakers include Jon Mallory, who documented the catch and release of 1,756 Tarpon, fly fishing in “walk-in-areas” in Brevard County.

Speakers will share information where to fish in the “No Motor Zone”, Sebastian Inlet, and St. John’s river system, in the surf and other areas. You do not have to be a fly fisherman to attend the meeting. IF YOU WANT TO LEARN TO FLY FISH WE WILL TEACH YOU! We Have 75 men, women and youth members who are dedicated to Education, Conservation and Fly Fishing Fellowship. During the year, we conduct regular fishing trips, rod crafting, and fly tying sessions and our monthly meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of the month at Kay’s Barbecue.
