This Week in Space Coast Kayaking Dec. 09-14 2013

We will be getting a change in the weather as this week rolls on. Though the temperatures wont drop much the winds will switch to a more northerly pattern. The trout and redfish have been plentiful trough-out the lagoon flats of the space coast. Soft plastic stick baits like the Slayer Inc. STB have been accounting for good numbers of fish.

The near-coastal waters of Cocoa Beach played host to an amazing triple tail bite last week. With the winds looking to favor the east direction on the windiest days of this week we could see that play out again. Floating debris and seaweed is needed to find the tastiest of coastal swimmers. Cobia were also found and due to the perfect water temperatures and that’s a sure thrill on the Kayak..
