FLUKE TIL YA PUKE COMETH

With the much-anticipated Fluke ‘Til Ya Puke tournament coming up on Father’s Day weekend, you still have plenty of time to enter and then overthink the living @#$% out of your game plan. If you do it right, and perhaps heed a few of the following suggestions, you’ll be off-your- thorazine looney by the time D-Day arrives—so jingled up the morning of, your bathrobe flapping in the apparent wind—that the very sound of the word ‘fluke’ will trigger your gag reflex. A Better Day at the Beach or Curtains for Local Fishing: Two Sides to the Story of Asharoken Beach

Management Training: Carlos and the Great Cod Caper

For about a month (as of this writing), I’ve been boning up on my knowledge of fisheries management current events, reading a ton of backlogged groundfish news, trying to nail down some specifics about a recent crusade by several environmental groups advocate for deep-ocean coral beds that have been discovered in a number of the notches in the continental slope where we target tuna or billfish.Apr 1st, 2016
