JUNIOR DIVISION

Tournament organizers welcomed Cameron Hicks, Kaleb Kneip and Brandon Leitenbauer to the group. Twenty-two Treasure Coast Casters (TCC) signed up for the July tournament.

Besides beautiful weather, an incoming tide blessed the anglers and the fishing according to tournament organizers, “Was great!” Anglers weighed in 19 fish and all fish were released.

Jordan Leitenbauer was the first to the table with a snapper. He also brought in a rockfish, mutton snapper and a pinfish. Next angler up was Dillon Furiato, with a puffer and this was the first fish he has ever caught. Mackenzy Peavy followed with a needlefish, and right behind her was Kaleb Kneip with a 2.08-pound ladyfish. Cameron Hicks brought in a jack, a 1.13-pound Spanish mackerel and a 22 inch, 3.9-pound snook. Brayden Adams and Riley Orr each pulled in a snapper. Nicholas Rosario added a mutton snapper, catfish and a jack.

Biggest fish of the tournament went to Cameron Hicks for his 3.9-pound snook. Along with a trophy, Cameron received a gift card to the Fishing Center, donated by TCC benefactors Pat Gwen, as one of the new TCC decals.

SENIOR DIVISION

Kane and Tyler Bostic were welcomed to the group and a special thank you goes out to Capt. Charlie Conner for being the guest speaker.

The boats left the docks of Capt. Joe’s Bait & Tackle at 6:30 a.m. All kinds of reports rolled in over the day of fish being caught, some not on the list and many too small to count. Kane and Tyler Bostic both brought in mangrove snappers. Colton Hester hooked up two Spanish mackerel and a nice weighing 1.7-pounds.

HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION
1st Place – Colton Hester – Ft. Pierce Central – Ft. Pierce – 45 points
2nd Place – no fish weighed
3rd Place – no fish weighed

MIDDLE SCHOOL DIVISION
1st Place – Tyler Bostic – Westgate K-8 – Port St. Lucie – 30 points
2nd Place – Kane Bostic – Westgate K-8 – Port St. Lucie – 30 points
3rd Place – no fish weighed

Since Tyler and Kane each had 30 points, the tie was broken by the heaviest fish.

Biggest fish of the tournament went to Colton Hester for his trout. with his trophies, he received a $25 gift card to the Fishing Center and a TCC decal.
