Ian Cunninghame caught this 53-inch, 40-pound redfish while fishing out of the Fort Pierce Inlet.
Ian Cunningham, of Vero Beach, caught this 53-inch, approximate 40-pound, redfish out of the Fort Pierce Inlet, fishing at the boils, ocean side, in front of the power plant using a thread fin, 3-ounce running lead, and an 8/0 circle hook on a 50-pound fluorocarbon leader next to a 5-foot hole. This “fish of a lifetime” was released under its own power.
