12-Year-Old Catches Great White Off Florida Coast

A 12-year-old boy reeled in a fish a little bigger than expected on Tuesday while fishing with his family off the coast of Fort Lauderdale.

Record Grunt Caught off N.C.

On Jan. 2, Logan Ennis, of Red Oak, N.C. set a new North Carolina state record with a white grunt that weighed 4 pounds, 13.6 ounces. He bested a record that has stood for more than 50 years.

Angler Catches Indiana State Record Burbot On Lake Michigan

Scott Skafar of Valparaiso caught a 10.2-pound burbot on Lake Michigan in Porter County Dec. 30, besting the previous record set in 1990 by 2.5 pounds. He also caught a second burbot the same day that bested the old state record by nearly 2 pounds.
