Winter wahoo madness will be in full swing this month! The larger wahoo in the 60 pound and up class will be going ballistic. Get out those bullet-head lures of darker colors such as black/purple and green/black and they will do the trick. I also have added a bright pink and blue into the spread and is producing well. The tuna have also seem to be arriving ahead of schedule with yellowfin and blackfin already here. White marlin were seen chasing big schools of pilchards in late January so there’s a lot going on in Exuma Sound starting the year off great as fishing goes. Highbourne Cay will stay a big hot spot as winter winds funnel fish to the top of the cays. Fishing the Wall will be the place to be. From 200 to 1,000 feet will be the zone to work and if you have radar keep a look for small flocks of birds, if the tuna are showing up early the birds can’t be far behind!  Tight lines!
