First week of July

Just a quick update for the last week. Fishing has not been that great off Cape Canaveral. The thermal cline has set in and the temps from day to day have been drastic. From 68 one day to 76 the very next day. Bait has been hard to locate as well. The few fish caught have been scarce, anywhere from 8a to pelican to the beach. It’s basically a lot of luck right now. Don’t leave the dock with out a box of backup. The weather man really screwed up this past week. They called for 20knots and small craft. Needless to say we fished every day and the ocean was beautiful. Not many fish but we tried hard! We got lucky one day and found a few large schools of hungry jacks and fished them for 3 hrs. The water is also crystal clear. It should be anyday now that the fishing fires off. Good luck
