[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hen the morning started off on March 20, we took a wait and see approach to the tournament. As Casters started to arrive at Harbour Pointe Park, they were told “You can fish, but you may get wet,” but all opted to chance the odds and fish. Eighteen anglers signed up for the tournament, all but six showed up, and at the end of the day, 18 fish were weighed.

Ciara Franqui weighed in a 3.5-pound jack, a 1.11-pound sheepshead and a puffer. Marcus Schurbart weighed in a 3.7-pound jack. Cameron Hicks had a 3.5-pound snook, along with a 1.5-pound sheepshead. Thomas Parramore had a puffer and Nicholas Rosario had a 15-ounce barracuda, 1.9-pound stingray, a snapper and a catfish. Noah Westbury had a nice flounder and Dayton Franqui had a catfish. Jeremy Beausolie had a 10-ounce pompano and a blue runner. All fish were released.
